As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. Your visible presence, strong communication skills, and customer-focused approach will help deter incidents while supporting site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Screen individuals and their belongings entering designated areas using established procedures and screening equipment, while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
  • Verify identification, visitor authorizations, and access credentials; direct guests to appropriate check-in points and escalate access concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.

Requirements

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Position Type: Part Time
  • Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour
  • Job Schedule: Day Time: Fri 09:30 PM – 05:30 AM, Sat 09:30 PM – 05:30 AM, Sun 09:30 PM – 05:30 AM
