As a Security Officer Access Screening in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support access control operations that help to deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor and/or contractor access, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with location policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, loading and unloading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Support traffic flow and access at docks, yards, and restricted areas by helping to control vehicle and pedestrian movement, maintaining logs, and communicating clearly with site personnel.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
