As a Security Officer Access Review in Bay Minette, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, support routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and visitor management activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization for people and/or vehicles, and report unusual or unauthorized activity to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post instructions and supporting security-related response activities as needed.
• Document daily activities, access events, and incident details in logs and/or reports, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, doors, fencing, and other access control points within an industrial location.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

Full Time. Daytime shift: Monday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Tuesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Wednesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
