As a Security Officer Access Operations Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual)

• 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR
• 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR
• 3+ Years' Security Experience (C108)
• Valid Driver's License

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a chemical and petrochemical facility while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor passes as assigned, and document entries, exits, and access-related activity in accordance with site policies.
• Control entry of vehicles, deliveries, materials, and personnel to restricted or controlled areas, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts according to established procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, gates, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
