Security Officer Access Management

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Communicate with staff, residents, visitors, and public agency representatives regarding site rules, access requirements, and/or reportable incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
