Security Officer Access Management
About the role
As a Security Officer Access Management in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will manage access control, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and greet visitors, drivers, and team members with outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors and/or deliveries, and document activity to help support authorized access throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses required may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
