Security Officer Access Intake

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor processing, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to access points, restricted areas, and other security-related concerns.
• Support badge access activities, maintain accurate access logs and incident reports, and assist with directing employees and visitors while following established security-related procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
