Security Officer Access Coordinator

As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Hartwell, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location where you will help manage access control, greet visitors, monitor entry activity, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and visitor management activities at an automotive location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, production spaces, and/or parking and shipping areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
- Document daily activities, access events, and unusual incidents in required logs and reports, including visitor, contractor, and/or delivery information.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
Requirements
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications

- Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
