Security Officer Access Control Weekends Overnights

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to docks, gates, warehouses, and other restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business interior, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document daily activities, access exceptions, visitor logs, and incident details in a clear and timely manner, following Allied Universal standards and site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Preferably have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

• Physical ability to perform patrol duties.
