Security Officer Access Control Specialist

As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Lincoln, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage, managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support controlled access to restricted areas.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicles as directed, document deliveries and shipments, and report access discrepancies or unusual activity to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and designated facility areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Access control and/or badge experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Monday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Friday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Sunday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
