What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery areas in accordance with site protocols, helping to support the protection of sensitive equipment and restricted spaces.
- Assist with reporting maintenance concerns, operational disruptions, and/or suspicious behavior so the appropriate site personnel can be notified promptly.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
