Security Officer Access Control Part Time

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor and contractor entry, and help to deter unauthorized access to the facility.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and security-related documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.77 / Hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Day shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
