Security Officer Access Control / Driving

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a residential location in Bradenton, FL, you will monitor entry points, verify access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership through timely and accurate reporting.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
