What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas through established security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity, facility concerns, and other security-related conditions that may require follow-up.
- Support site operations by maintaining accurate access logs, reporting policy violations, and assisting with traffic and/or delivery coordination in accordance with post instructions.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
