About the role
As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Union City, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing access credentials as authorized, and directing personnel to appropriate areas.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, contractor access, and unusual occurrences, completing required reports in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Guard card or license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$16.75 / Hour

- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
