Responsibilities
As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Georgetown, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, and help deter incidents while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license.
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
- Control access for delivery personnel, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with established facility procedures, including directing individuals to designated check-in areas.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
