Security Officer Access Control Desk

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
• Staff the front desk and assist tenants, visitors, and vendors with check-in, directions, visitor access protocols, and general questions in a professional manner.
• Monitor lobby activity, cameras, alarms, phones, and/or access control systems, and report unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete required logs, visitor records, incident documentation, and other front desk reports while maintaining awareness of activity at the location.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Alarm panel experience.
