GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer in Pflugerville, Texas. This role is ideal for individuals with sharp observation skills and attention to detail, focusing on monitoring environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses to spot threats before they escalate.

About the role

As a Surveillance Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining safety and security through vigilant monitoring and proactive response. Excellent customer service and clear communication are key priorities.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries from the public and clients.
Conduct screenings of persons entering the facility.
Control, regulate, and direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
Perform desk duties, including telecommunications (telephone, computer, radio).
Prepare clear, accurate, and complete reports on all activities.
Conduct foot and vehicle patrols when required.
Control access to ensure only authorized personnel enter the site.
Assist Operations Management during emergencies.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent (GED).
Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
Texas security license or ability to obtain one.
CPR certification or ability to obtain one.
Valid Driver’s License.
At least 21 years of age or older.
