What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols at an automotive manufacturing location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or badge systems to help control access to the location, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel, documenting events, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to access points, parking areas, and other sensitive locations where working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and/or delivery personnel regarding entry procedures, restricted areas, and site expectations while completing required reports and other routine documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
