As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Console in El Paso, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a utility location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-control logs and records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, gates, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access or unusual conditions.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and access-control concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision in accordance with reporting procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Schedule

Job Schedule DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
