Security Officer Access Badge Assistance

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer for Access Badge Assistance in Westlake, TX, to serve and safeguard clients in a financial services environment. The position is full‑time and involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine access control activities, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and clients at a financial services office by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Report security‑related observations, hazards, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
