Security Officer - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned buildings and grounds for the purpose of enforcing Company rules and regulations, protecting the Company, life, and the property of employees.
• Check to see that gates or doors are properly secured and windows closed, and check the status of other Company facilities or equipment (such as test cells), and perform tasks such as shutting off lights and fans, etc.
• Note, investigate, document, and report to coordinator/manager or appropriate individual any unusual occurrence of a suspicious nature.
• Protect entrances to control entry and departure of persons, and prohibit entry of unauthorized persons into Graco or restricted areas.
• Check credentials and register visitors in and out.
• Issue badges to visitors, contractors, and employees.
• Monitor and troubleshoot electronic fire, security, camera, and intercom systems. Must be proficient in all systems.
• Maintain order in emergencies.
• Cooperate with all city, state, and federal agencies.
• Provide information and/or assistance as required.
