Responsibilities

• Patrols property and monitors surveillance equipment.
• Inspects building, equipment, and access points.
• Permits entry and conducts proper investigation and inquiries into incidents.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Completes detailed reports to the Security Manager.
• Patrols the facility to prevent or minimize property loss, personal injury, or situations hurting the organization.
• Maintains security by responding to alarms and investigating disturbances.
• Monitors the entrance of vehicles and people on the property.
• Completes all duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid New Mexico level 3 guard card or ability to pass firearms certification and a psychological examination to obtain a New Mexico level 3 guard license within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends, special events, Holidays, and inclement weather.
• Participation in community relations events.

Qualifications

• Armed Security Officer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of site-specific policies and procedures.
• Ability to provide superior customer service.
