Security Officer – 2nd Shift

Location: Fairless Hills, PA – Full‑Time, onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Control facility access and verify employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Patrol the facility and complete routine security checks.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• Screen individuals and packages using security equipment.
• Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, and X‑ray equipment.
• Assist with visitor check‑in and escorts.
• Respond to alarms and security‑related incidents.
• Communicate with team members by radio and telephone.
• Complete incident reports and required security documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior security experience is a plus.
• Military or law‑enforcement experience is preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, walk for extended periods, bend, conduct searches, and lift up to 50 lb.
• Eligibility for ITAR and NAID requirements and successful completion of pre‑employment screening (background, credit, drug, physical).

Pay

$21.50 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. No rotating shifts.
