About the role

As a Security Officer at a food and beverage distribution center in Golden, CO, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, loading dock, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while communicating observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Day shift: Thursday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Friday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
