Security Monitoring Officer | FT | $26/hr DOQ

About the role

This position’s primary responsibility is to protect the assets of all Upper Skagit Tribal properties and reduce potential liabilities through observation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarms and closed-circuit TV cameras
• Monitor, document, and report unlawful, suspicious, and irregular activities at the Tribe's properties
• Maintain confidentiality regarding surveillance operations
• Comply with all applicable regulatory, departmental, and Tribal procedures

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Working knowledge or previous work experience in the use of closed-circuit television equipment preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including writing reports and effective email communication
• Ability to work in a position where attention to detail is critical to accurately analyze, input data, and compile reports
• Self-directed with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and solve routine problems
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent hearing and vision (including peripheral) with ability to distinguish colors, letters, numbers, and symbols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Willing and able to work non-traditional schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
