About the role
Maintaining the safety and security of the hotel’s guests, associates and assets stay at top-of-mind in this critical role. This job is all about how you react, or just as important, don’t react, in strenuating circumstances. It’s about staying a step (or five) ahead of potential situations, identifying them and managing them with professionalism, reasonable thinking and in accordance with our policies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.
- Identify and manage potential security risks professionally and in compliance with policies.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and security protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall safety measures.
- Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies and stressful situations.
Requirements
- Passionate about safety and security with similar work experience.
- A post-secondary diploma, degree or industry-related certifications preferred.
- Experience in safety and security operations.
- Team player with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and be flexible to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
