Security Mapping Specialist

Allied Universal is hiring a Global Security Mapping Specialist to work at a technology company in Cupertino, CA. The role involves tracking security devices and access levels globally, constructing and maintaining security maps, reviewing engineering drawings for adherence to specifications, and collaborating with multiple teams to resolve discrepancies.

Pay

$30.00 per hour

Schedule

Swing shift: Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:45 PM

Requirements

• 1+ years of security experience
• Adobe Illustrator, access control, and strong technology proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of security data across multiple systems and drawings
• Create security drawings from project data, installation notes, and CAD drawings
• Perform regular maintenance of security drawings from various Global Security teams
• Escalate and follow up on discrepancies within security drawings
• Conduct regular audits of system software to ensure accuracy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment)
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication within a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced security environment
• Aptitude for learning various systems and applications
• Preferred experience with Lenel, Adobe Illustrator, VidSys, and Milestone
• Working knowledge of Mac operating system
• Flexibility on schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays
• Ability to learn and utilize art/graphic design software
• Ability to work independently and within a team on daily tasks and projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) environment
• AutoCAD experience
