About the Role
Directs and manages comprehensive corporate physical security operations, encompassing strategic oversight of security personnel, enterprise-wide risk and threat mitigation, development of compliant security protocols, and leadership of emergency response initiatives to ensure the total safety and operational resilience of corporate assets and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Articulate complex security and operational concepts to senior leadership; influence strategic decision-making through persuasive presentations and clear communication.
- Navigate diverse relationships with internal business partners and external vendors, ensuring cross-functional alignment and successful delivery of service-level agreements.
- Design, develop, and administer comprehensive security and safety programs aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead high-performing teams with a focus on exceptional customer service, continuous process improvement, and professional development of direct reports.
- Leverage advanced situational analysis and critical thinking to identify mission-critical issues quickly and accurately, even in high-pressure or ambiguous environments.
- Manage complex, multi-task projects in fast-paced environments by prioritizing workflows based on urgency and strategic importance.
- Synthesize complex operational data into concise, actionable situation reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain high situational awareness to detect irregular or unusual conditions, proactively mitigating security concerns or environmental hazards before they escalate.
- Administer and operate access control systems, CCTV systems with digital recording, and photo ID systems.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in criminal justice or related field preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in law enforcement, military, industrial, or governmental security, or an equivalent combination.
- Previous management and leadership experience required.
- Experience in Executive Protection.
- Law Enforcement and/or Military Schooling a plus.
- Ability to use computerized equipment and technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and specialized enterprise management software (Cornerstone, Workday, Security Management Systems).
- Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to sit for long periods and use common office tools and technology (e.g., telephone, computer, electronic devices).
- Maintain required certifications, licensing, and training to achieve professional competency as appropriate for the position.
- Ability to travel on short notice within CONUS and OCONUS.
