Job Summary
Immediate Opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer
Location: Richmond Heights, MO
About the Role
Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and closed circuit TV.
Report writing.
Interact with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
Provide courtroom testimony as required.
Responsibilities
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Pre-employment criminal background and drug screen.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time.
- Reliable transportation.
- Communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.
- Write legibly, accurately, and easily understandable reports.
- Assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
- Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
- Absence from scheduled shifts is not tolerated.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
- Criminal Justice or related studies a plus.
Qualifications
Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement.
Skills
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
