Job Summary

Immediate Opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer
Location: Columbia, MO.

About the Role

Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and through the use of Closed Circuit TV
Report writing
Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed
Provide court room testimony as required

Responsibilities

• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Full-time/ 30 - 40 hours per week

Job Requirement

• Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
• Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
• Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)

Skills

Assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
