Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively in English
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
- Interact well with guests and associates
- Assist co-workers with job duties and work as a team player
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the building layout, function rooms, and some knowledge of the city and surrounding areas
- Stand, walk, and/or sit continuously to perform essential job functions for the duration of the shift
- Observe and detect signs of emergency situations using hearing and visual ability
- Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances within and between buildings on the property
- Grasp, lift, and/or carry goods weighing up to 150 lbs
- Use sufficient manual dexterity in hands
- Climb stairs and ladders at a rapid pace
- Perform duties within extreme temperature ranges
- Adhere to hotel security policies and procedures, including key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and reporting safety hazards
Requirements
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Ability to remain professional at all times and treat guests and associates with courtesy and respect
- Act as a guest relations ambassador every working minute of every day
