Security Lieutenant

About the role

The Security Lieutenant oversees all security operations, including personnel, material, training, and operational requirements. They support and uphold the company's vision, mission, and values.

Responsibilities

• Adequately address physical security and request support as needed
• Ensure strict compliance with orders and guidance for armed guards
• Maintain proper accountability, maintenance, and repair of assigned property and equipment
• Mentor and manage subordinate security personnel
• Train and equip security personnel for their assigned positions
• Prepare, complete, or revise standard operating procedures, emergency action plans, and training plans
• Continually assess security situation for optimal asset utilization and protection
• Maintain records management system for security operations
• Maintain daily communications with subordinate security personnel
• Provide briefings and presentations as necessary
• Maintain a key control program for all vehicles, storage areas, ammunition storage, and housing keys
• Enforce company and project vehicle operator policies

Requirements

• Previous supervisory security experience as a Security Lieutenant, Law Enforcement Officer, or Contractor
• Eight (8) or more years' experience at the E6 level or above
• Eligible for US Top Secret Security Clearance; must be a US Citizen
• Valid driver's license
• Fluent in English
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to pass a detailed medical evaluation
• Former military must have received an honorable discharge
• Pass a detailed background investigation
• Meet physical requirements dictated by project requirements
