About the role

If you have a passion for providing security services and seek a challenging role with an enthusiastic team, Marksman wants to hear from you! This position involves working with data center systems, CCTV, VMS, controlling ingress/egress, and making rounds. Prior experience working as a dispatch representative and/or security command center operator is a plus.

Must have reliable transportation and one year of prior security background.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by operations

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid KC Security License
• Valid MO Driver’s License
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Minimum of one year of security experience
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Tues–Sat, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
