Shift Opening(s)
Variety of days (Monday - Sunday), 2nd and 3rd shifts, weekends required.
Rate of Pay
$18.61
About The Job
Billable: Work 30 - 39 hours per week in a billable, uniform capacity. The majority of the position involves operational tasks, requiring the Lead Officer to maintain a personal presence throughout the region. Travel: Great deal of travel in a personal vehicle, mileage reimbursed at $0.445/mile after the initial 50 miles (one-way).
Supervision
Directly supervise and manage subordinates in executing strategies consistent with law, client, and company policy, and accepted security standards to maintain a safe, secure, and orderly environment.
Site Training
Oversee the training of all assigned officers and ensure they carry out duties outlined in site guidelines.
Officer Grooming
Ensure the appearance, grooming, and physical image of all uniform security employees and event staff are impeccable at all times.
Client Communication
Maintain regular communication with the designated client contact and keep operations manager updated on client communication.
Customer Service
Understand and enforce DK's customer service program with all assigned officers.
Site Equipment and Uniforms
Maintain an inventory of and report problems with DK and client-owned equipment and uniforms.
On-Call
Be available at all times to receive calls from subordinates with site questions and handle unexpected scheduling issues.
Other Duties as Assigned
The daily duties of this position are determined by the client and may vary depending on site/client needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must be at least 21 years old and hold a Michigan CPL or LEOSA card for armed security work.
- Pass a drug screening at time of hire and randomly thereafter (including for marijuana).
- Not convicted of any felonies or misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, unauthorized sale of information or evidence, controlled substances (including marijuana), or two or more alcohol-related offenses.
- Able to sit, stand, and walk for 8-12 hours at a time, lift at least 50 lbs. (70 lbs. for armed work), see clearly at least 20 feet away, hear conversations in loud environments, use a smart mobile phone or computer, read, write, speak, and understand English, and have excellent personal integrity and a positive attitude.
- Complete required trainings on time and adhere to all client and company policies.
Education Requirements
- All: High School Diploma or GED.

Current employees on active disciplinary probation are not eligible for this position and will not be considered. Employees who have been previously removed from the contract governing this position will not be considered. Previous employees who were on disciplinary probation at the time of separation will not be considered.
