Job Description
Billable: The position involves maintaining a personal presence throughout the facility and interacting with staff and patrons.
Supervision: Directly supervise and manage subordinates, ensuring they adhere to law, company policy, and security standards.
Site Training: Oversee the training of all assigned officers and ensure they carry out duties as outlined in the site's post guidelines.
Site Post Orders: Maintain updated post guidelines and review them annually with the client and operations manager.
Client Communication: Regularly communicate with the designated client contact and keep the operations manager informed about client interactions.
Payroll: Approve time sheets and ensure they are submitted weekly within company deadlines.
Discipline: Assist management in implementing disciplinary actions for violations of company or client policy, following HR guidance.
Incident Reports: Review and approve all written reports of investigation generated by assigned personnel.
Site Equipment and Uniforms: Maintain an inventory of and report issues with DK and client-owned equipment and uniforms.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old, high school diploma or GED (associates degree preferred)
- Good moral character, no felony or misdemeanor convictions for certain offenses
- Pass a drug test at hire and randomly thereafter
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Two years minimum of experience as a security officer preferred
- Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
- CPR/1st Aid/AED certified (prior certification preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Experience scheduling preferred
- Flexible schedule, willing to cover shifts on short notice
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations
- Physically and mentally capable of performing job duties
- Able to use hands and fingers, reach, sit, stand, walk for 8-12 hour shifts, and possibly up and down stairs
- High School Diploma or GED certification required
- Michigan Driver License required
