About the role

The Security Team at Fluidstack is responsible for securing the frontier of AI by ensuring the physical and logical security of the infrastructure that powers groundbreaking technology. This role involves owning end-to-end physical security across multiple data center campuses, from ground-breaking to steady-state operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end physical security across a portfolio of greenfield data center campuses, from groundbreak through commissioning into steady-state operations.
  • Define and enforce post orders for contract guard services, holding the force to a high bar and managing the vendor strategically.
  • Partner with engineering teams and trades to drive on-schedule deployment of physical security systems, including ESS programming and commissioning.
  • Carry Fluidstack's security commitments to customers, hitting every contractual milestone.
  • Design and execute site-specific strategies for secure material movement and protection of critical assets through deployment and operations.

Requirements

  • Lived the full data center security lifecycle from groundbreak to go-live, and speaks construction and operations fluently.
  • Deeply technical on Electronic Security Systems: programming, commissioning, door hardware validation, not just oversight.
  • Audits guard force compliance against post orders and manages the vendor to a high standard.
  • Plans and executes secure material moves and critical-asset protection on active build sites.
  • Energized by the pace of getting things built and comfortable owning security when it touches everything on site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data center security, preferably in a hyperscale environment.
  • Experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS) deployment and commissioning at scale.
  • Construction-phase security experience is a plus.
  • Customer-facing security commitments experience is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of physical security systems and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation range: $221K - $274K
