Security Lead

About the role

As a Functional Lead in the Safe and Secure Team, you will oversee day-to-day activities, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned team
• Evaluate trends and develop plans to accomplish team tasks and objectives
• Engage team members, provide feedback, and demonstrate desired skills
• Create a positive work environment
• Communicate information to team members and stakeholders
• Support leadership and execute team/department initiatives
• Implement and monitor incident management program
• Ensure safety and security of associates and facilities
• Manage visitor and vendor check-in processes
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain security technology
• Assign work and hold team members accountable

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in physical security operations or loss prevention
• 1+ years experience directly supervising/managing a team
• Demonstrated ability to coach team members
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to take initiative and adapt to a constantly changing environment
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university, preferably in business, criminal justice, crisis management, or security operations
• Experience with project management software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets

Qualifications

$50-$62k annually
