Security IDaaS Engineer

Location: Richmond, Virginia (Partial Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Security IDaaS Engineer to use technology to improve, streamline, and automate information technology systems and services. The role involves joining a team of Federation Services engineers to develop and maintain the security posture of rules, controls, and safeguards. The engineer will also support the design and development of code required to build and maintain Access Management Services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the security posture of rules, controls, and security safeguards to protect information assets.
• Facilitate and configure application integrations and create IAM objects such as users, groups, and API tokens.
• Collaborate with the Federation Services team to understand secure Authentication, Authorization, IDaaS, and API services.
• Assist in designing and developing code to build and maintain Access Management Services.
• Improve Change Management (CM) practices and support rapid recovery from critical incidents.
• Engage in knowledge sharing and continuously seek improvement opportunities.
• Manage work with effective time management skills and prioritize tasks within a team setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Technical Skills: IDaaS, OAuth, IDM, IGA, SAML, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Scripting (Postman, PowerShell), Okta, Agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Master's Degree may be preferred.

• This position may require extended work hours.
• Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be necessary.
