About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology/media production and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production or distribution areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while working collaboratively with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$14.42 / hour

- Day: Saturday, 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Day: Sunday, 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
