Security Guard Weekend Part Time

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, communicating relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.70 / Hour

Schedule

• Daytime
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
