About the role
As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as automotive. This part-time, driving position involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of vehicle display areas, service lanes, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe the movement of visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
- Access control/badge experience (preferred).
Pay
$17.50 per hour.
Schedule
- Part-time.
- Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
