Security Guard Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Winston-Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Education and healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, patients, and visitors. You will respond to alarms and access control needs while providing exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and students by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical facility protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.

Pay

$15.00 / Hour
