As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with professional customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond to routine concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence areas, parking locations, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, access control issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate relevant information with campus representatives, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay & Schedule

Part Time position with a pay rate of $14.11 / Hour. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
