About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location in Ellenwood, GA, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe site activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and commercial vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, hazards, and other security-related concerns; complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Have customer service experience (preferred).
• Have X-ray screening experience (preferred).
• Have loss prevention experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.33 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: Tuesday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Night shift: Friday, 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
