Security Guard, Unarmed

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate around the facility's perimeter at regular, unscheduled intervals.
• Maintain a daily activity log noting any unusual occurrences, patrols conducted, and security checks performed.
• Operate and monitor security equipment including metal detectors and surveillance systems.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
• Document and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in security, corrections, or law enforcement preferred.
• Pass background checks and drug screening.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Possess and maintain a valid AZDPS Security Guard (guard card).
• Possess an Active Secret Clearance.
• At least 21 years of age.
• A US citizen or permanent resident.
• Requires standing, walking, and physical activity for extended periods.
