Security Guard TWIC Credential Officer

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic utilities location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support access control operations for a professional, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, document visitor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, equipment issues, and/or other security-related concerns.

Requirements

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
