About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare-related residential community in Delray Beach, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This is a part-time, driving position requiring a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and pedestrian activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position).
• Guard card (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$19.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

Part-time position with flexibility to claim additional shifts using Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform.
