About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $26.78 / Hour
Schedule
- Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Friday: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security-related procedures and healthcare location policies.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points and help manage visitor flow while respecting patient privacy and supporting a welcoming healthcare environment.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to designated healthcare personnel and/or emergency responders.
Requirements
- A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
