Security Guard (pool of applicants)

About the role

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide security services at Progreso ISD facilities.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in evacuations as needed.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity.
• Interact with students, staff, and visitors in a professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina.
• Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.

Skills

• Proficient in using security software and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
